  3. Word to the wise. I am 14 years old also and I know not to get into a big argument with someone older then you, especially adults. You will lose most of the time and the rest of the time, their going easy on you cause they know your young.

  4. Very good points you made but when you have stuff like you would sell them or find other solutions to solve them. The company you work for gives its customers no options whats so ever. I didn’t even want to cancel my service since I was happy with them but I had no choice. I would have been a returning customer to them but after all of this I will never have DTV service no matter where I live. Its all about customer service and taking care of your customers which im sorry to say DTV doesn’t!

  5. oh and that is providing that the customers would actually take 5 minutes to read what they are signing

  6. i wouldnt buy a car with out a working engine, but on the same token if i never put oil in it and blew the engine i wouldnt hold the dealership responsible for it. it is the same as if you finance a snowmobile and move to the desert and cant use it, if your under contact they still will make you pay for it. i agree that they should better explain all of this in the begining, and make people sign verifying that they understand the policy. it would make everyones job alot easier.

  7. Well I look at this way if you don’t have my signature approving it then its not my problem. I know some companies will try to get you to agree to an new agreement over the phone and its recorded and I never agreed to anything. So I was under no new contract and I never signed anything. let me ask you this….would you ever finance a car from a dealership with out and working engine? Of course you wouldn’t. So why would I continue to pay for something that doesn’t work where I live?

  8. somthing that a lot of people dont realize with the contract is that if you dont buy the protection plan and if you ever need a service call to replace a bad receiver, or you get a upgrade then when they give you a new one it extends your contract buy 24 months. they dont explain that very well at all. we run into this in the feild alot

  9. Dude, I wrote that comment about 5 years ago at least

    By freakshow17 on Mar 7, 2009

  10. And at the time of installation when I signed a contract was back in 2004 when I got direct TV. At that time I was living in Tucson AZ and that is when I SINGED anything. When I moved out to CA I didn’t even sign anything. So for all I care the original contract I signed back in 2004 expired and I was under NOOOOOO CONTRACT. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK HEADS ALREADY!

  11. Oh I love it how your Direct TV employees defend your shitty ass company. First of all who the hell does direct TV think they are to tell me when I can and can not move. Its a simple thing….if your service doesn’t work where I live I will NOT pay period! It doesn’t matter where I lived before and where I live now if you shit doesn’t work its Direct TV’s problem not mine. And for your information my contract ended 3 years ago before I made this video. I was under NOOOOOOOOOO CONTRACT!!!

    By matrix3000k on Mar 13, 2009

  12. i work for direct tv and all the charges are well explained in the contract you sign at the time of installation. the reason they charged this customer a early termination fee is because where he first had direct tv installed he had a line of sight. he is the one who caused the loss of signal by moving. direct tv would have never originaly signed him in to a contact if he couldnt get a signal.

  15. Glad I saw this first. Direct TV…..go fuck yourselves. Dish did something simular to me. I bought the equipment using a credit card. Next thing I know they are charging my crfedit card for monthly bills. Tooks me over two years and much financial hardshiot to get it fixed. Of course I fired their worthless asses. Must not be very smart to be a dish technicians making chump change.

  16. verizon fios is the best fios is the #1 hands down

    By jas876p on Mar 19, 2009

  17. I used to work in the satellite service. 1 thng that i can see, all of you satellite customers are fooking crazy. Everyone is normal until they get satellite, once its installed, customers turn into these complete retards who act like the world is ending if somthing isn’t right. The reason you have a problem with diret tv customer service is probably none of the employees gave a fuck about your problem and kept passing you around. Also, don’t believe a word a tech tells you, ask for another one

  18. You know I don’t think I am just going to be able to sleep tonight knowing you blocked me. MAN I am so heart broken over it…..LOL I can careless if you block me LITTLE ONE. But hey if that’s what you have to do to make yourself feel better than go right ahead and I will try to get some sleep tonight and hold back my tears “sniff sniff sniff” LOL You still have a lot of growing up to do LITTLE ONE.

    By matrix3000k on Mar 25, 2009

  19. Prove it LITTLE ONE….don’t get me wrong I do also enjoy Apple products but they are NOT number 1 in customer satisfaction. And it looks like you have exhausted your argument cause you have nothing else to say which I do expect since your still ONLY 14 years old. You have sooooooooo much to learn.

    By matrix3000k on Mar 28, 2009

  20. One more thing, I’ve blocked you.

    By GamePro0012 on Mar 28, 2009

  21. Apple is my favorite company, and Apple IS #1 in customer satisfaction. Also, don’t call me “little one”.

    By GamePro0012 on Mar 31, 2009

  22. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA………….I can see your the type that will believe anything a commercial tells you. Ah so young yet so dumb. Just because THEY say that they are rated #1 is not true. Show me something from the BBB, or better yet show me an article online that states that fact….bet you can’t find one!!!!!! See Apple computer says the same thing that they are rated #1 in customer satisfaction but thats not true either. So don’t believe everything you see on TV little one!

    By matrix3000k on Apr 2, 2009

  23. I meant my parents and I saw the fact they were number 1 on one of their commercials earlier today. However, it WAS them saying that… :-/

    By GamePro0012 on Apr 3, 2009

  24. I would love to see a link from you to show me that they are rated #1 in customer satisfaction cause I just googled it and NOTHING came up that they are #1…..get your facts correct little one!!

    By matrix3000k on Apr 6, 2009

  25. You could have not been with them for 10 years cause that would make you only 4 years old……now your parents could have been with them for 10 years and good for them!!! You will be back and complain how hey screw you guys over once they do.

    By matrix3000k on Apr 7, 2009

  26. I must also say that my parents have no plans to switch providers, and that DirecTV was rated #1 in customer satisfaction.
